Epigenetic clock

An epigenetic clock (also called an aging clock) reads chemical markers on your DNA and translates them into an estimate of your biological age: how old your body looks at the cellular level, independent of your birth year. The result predicts health risks and mortality better than your calendar age, but you cannot draw hard personal conclusions from it: the clock measures an association, not a cause, and does not perform equally well in every cell type. Treat the outcome as a guideline, not a final verdict.
